The 7 Yards – Movie Curricular Resources extend students’ learning beyond the film 7 Yards: The Chris Norton Story. This resource includes a facilitator guide and a student handout for each of the Six Pillars of Character.
The research-based strategies provided in each lesson will help students advance their character skills. Topics include goal achievement, growth mindset, communications strategies, and overcoming adversity.
Each of the six student handouts also includes an assessment so students can reflect on how well they are demonstrating character skills and what they could do differently in the future.

Each one of us faces adversity, uncertainty, and change. Chris is no exception. After suffering a spinal cord injury while playing college football, Chris was given a 3% chance of ever moving anything below his neck. Despite his tragic accident and facing long odds, Chris found the power to stand and ultimately walk across the stage at his college graduation and down the aisle at his wedding. Chris’ story went viral. Featured on many of the largest media outlets in the world, he has inspired over 400 million people worldwide. He continues to inspire others as a keynote speaker, author, foster and adoptive parent, and as the star of the life-changing documentary, 7 Yards: The Chris Norton Story.

All domestic, non-express orders are shipped via UPS ground service. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing and delivery. Delivery time may be extended during peak periods, which include but are not limited to April – June and August – October. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees if packages are refused.
