Moral Kombat: Truancy Intervention

$89.00$299.00

Through incorporating the Six Pillars of Character, the digital Moral Kombat book series meets the specific needs of helping at-risk teens with parent communication, life skills, and decision-making and overcoming shoplifting, drug and alcohol abuse, truancy, and criminal behavior.

Kids are truant for a variety of reasons—friends, poor relationships with teachers, a disconnectedness from their school, lack of interest in class topics, being bullied or teased, low self-esteem, drug or alcohol use, language barriers, lack of adequate social skills, etc. Through intervention, training, and curriculum – this program is able to achieve nearly an 80% success rate in recidivism studies.

About the Moral Kombat Series

The evidence-based pedagogy and methodology are only part of the reasons for the overwhelming response this program has garnered. Moral Kombat allows at-risk students to learn from their mistakes while instilling a desire to control and improve their behavior and change their belief systems. Moral Kombat’s success stems from its unique combination of experiential and collaborative learning CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and REBT (rational emotive behavioral therapy) for at-risk students. Students learn to take personal responsibility for their actions, the importance of character, and that all actions have consequences, plus more. The Moral Kombat book series was carefully designed to meet the needs of at-risk youth by facilitating self-discovery and decision-making skills so that students can deal successfully with troubling issues that create problems in their lives.
