Through incorporating the Six Pillars of Character, the digital Moral Kombat book series meets the specific needs of helping at-risk teens with parent communication, life skills, defensive driving, and decision-making and overcoming shoplifting, drug and alcohol abuse, truancy, and criminal behavior.
This program, utilizing cognitive behavioral-based strategies and approaches, uses role-playing techniques and preventive guidance for teens who need to know how good decision-making skills and personal self-control can help make up for a lack of driving experience. It helps keep them, their passengers, and others they meet on the road, safe and alive. Through intervention, training, and curriculum – this program is able to achieve nearly an 80% success rate in recidivism studies.

The evidence-based pedagogy and methodology are only part of the reasons for the overwhelming response this program has garnered. Moral Kombat allows at-risk students to learn from their mistakes while instilling a desire to control and improve their behavior and change their belief systems. Moral Kombat’s success stems from its unique combination of experiential and collaborative learning CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and REBT (rational emotive behavioral therapy) for at-risk students. Students learn to take personal responsibility for their actions, the importance of character, and that all actions have consequences, plus more. The Moral Kombat book series was carefully designed to meet the needs of at-risk youth by facilitating self-discovery and decision-making skills so that students deal successfully with troubling issues that create problems in their lives.
